The body of Suman Kumar alias Chhotu (25), son of Shanichar Singh, resident of Rahiya Tola village of Bariyarpur police station area, was recovered by Bariyarpur police station from Rahiya Dhab (pit filled with Ganga water) on the banks of Ganga on Tuesday morning. As soon as the dead body was found, there was chaos among the family members. Suman was missing since Saturday night, due to which the deceased’s brother Inder Kumar had filed an application at Bariyarpur police station, fearing the murder of his brother.
Taking action, Police Station Head Rajesh Kumar has detained Prince Kumar, Dilkhush Kumar, Vinod Kumar alias Binda, resident of Paru Mandal Tola along with two other youths and a woman. As soon as the body was found, the Bariyarpur police station sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Sadar SDPO Rajesh Kumar said that on April 7, Bariyarpur police station received information that some youth of Rahiya Tola had beaten a youth and made him missing.
After verification, the police have detained some people. The detained youth Prince Kumar told during interrogation that he had seen Suman in an objectionable position with his sister in Rahiya Bahiyar, after which he along with some friends caught Suman and killed her after beating her and the body was found in Rahiya Dhab on the banks of Ganga. Thrown away. SDPO said that Prince Kumar and one other person have been arrested in this case. Police are conducting raids to arrest the remaining four people.
